When I started seeing these Armor Carbon Fiber ads for the BlackBerry PlayBook popping up, my first thought was, what is it? And how can I get this on my PlayBook! This PVC based film is a nice alternative to bulky cases by BodyGuardz.
First of all, just look at it. The Armor Carbon Fiber series is very attractive and sharp looking. It almost appears to be a case but it’s not. It’ll make your BlackBerry PlayBook one dapper looking tablet though!
If your a PlayBook owner your going to understand this. I love this tablet don’t get me wrong, but to hold it without anything on feels rather sandy in hands. It’s nice that the casing doesn’t reveal prints easily however I haven’t really enjoyed holding mine this much thanks this easy to install carbon fiber textured film. BodyGuardz has really got a grip on their devices, literally! Sure it seems like the idea would be too decorative, but it’s actually a very thin film that looks native to the tablet aesthetic.
Holding my PlayBook without a case feels spectacular now that I have the Armor Carbon on it. Almost like tinted windows on a car. Life before them is fine, but then your sitting in your ride with the windows all limousine tinted you can’t help but recall how different it was before. I love the textured carbon fiber feel on the back now. I dig that it can be removed without leaving any residue or damaging my PlayBook.
