BlackBerry Storm2 9520/9550 Smooth Case by Case-mate

I recently found myself in the market for a New BlackBerry Storm2 case when I stumbled upon the Smooth Case only for Storm2 9520/9550 devices by the awesome accessory maker known as Case-mate.

I’ve looked at this one a few times before but always ended up going for a bigger more expensive case in the past. Inside the box you’ll discover 2 smooth and firm plastic pieces, along with a Screen Protection kit. Both pieces slide easily over the top and bottom of your 9520/9550 BlackBerry Smartphone and then “snap-together” in the back to give you a sturdy fit.

Of course you get access to all the ports and buttons. Everything you can plug in, clip-on, speak in or listen from is free to the touch. There’s no covering on any access point. The case fits very well. I noticed immediately that my Storm2 with the SurePress design now is clicking in with the screen pushing the same resistance back that I remember when I first pulled the Smartphone from it’s original box 6 months ago. At first I actually called myself out. Kind of like when you buy something expensive and catch yourself attempting to convince yourself it’s better than it really is. After testing my screen in soft cases and without the Smooth case numerous times over the last week I discovered that this case is adding just a bit of pressure around the structure which inadvertently gives your screen a nice click sound and feels better for those who enjoy SurePress design.

The case is very lightweight. Takes two seconds to add to your phone and takes little effort to remove. I’m using this case fairly often and like I said the firm screen is a big plus.
