I caught this post from BlackBerry Cool in my BlackBerry News feed this morning and got a little jazzed. We did hear Alec Saunders (VP of Developer Relations at RIM) say Theme Studio 7 would come mid-late 2012 but seeing is believing. And rumors can be fun, maybe Alec will add some positive fuel to this again?
Theme Developers have struggled with RIM over the last year. Once upon a time the BlackBerry theme was an entire culture of living breathing developers, testers and users. And we’d love to see that again some day. Support for BlackBerry 10 would be crucial to keep the theme alive though.
BlackBerry Cool reported a tip that a member of the BlackBerry theme building community said “RIM will be releasing a new version of Theme Studio sometime this early summer giving theme developers lots more options when creating BlackBerry 7 themes.”
