Certified product: Vinto
Every few months or so HedoneDesign reminds us what a real visual experience is. Vinto is the product of inspiration. For every artist is another artist who inspired their own creative process. Dapper only skims the surface. BlackBerrys dressed to kill is more like it.
Organized and optimized for the small environment that most all themes must make the best of. Access is stacked 3 levels high with an orange glow to see your navigation. It’s well matched to the dark setting everything sets into. HedneDesign continues to raise the bar they’ve set.
Functionality is reinvented. With so many options building up the homescreen it’s no wonder they choose not to use trays in the BlackBerry 6 builds. Add the orange glow and you get something delicious. Hard not to stare into. Because we generally don’t judge products made with development tools in beta, because of the long wait and users needs we have and those bugs are considered. No loss of points.
The icons, the darkness. the fonts in the clock view, all of it combine to bring out a complete visual experience. It’s been a while since users have shown HedoneDesign this much attention. Users embraced for BlackBerry 6.0 themes.
Overall judges had only one issue which is in the rolling icons view at home. The appearance to show shading for the skinned icons may hide a bit of the 3rd party icons depending on user placement. But a small price to pay to get something this. Vinto is authentic and original, there’s no product like it because it’s one of a kind.
