Feels like all the cases and BlackBerry Smartphones I’ve used/reviewed, have all led me to finally get this on.. The Commuter Series Case for 9650 by OtterBox. It feels natural and focused. All around like the Bold was dipped in chocolate protection.
One of my favorites among all my 9550 cases was the Commuter Series. But it wasn’t quite my favorite for that device. Though I’ve only been through 5 cases on the 9650 now, it’s fair to say that I have a favorite. The case remained snug on my Bold 9650 for 14+ days without any distraction. That’s a record. By at least 10 days.
Finding a comfortable accessory for a new device can be sticky situation. Tell me about it. My Bold 9650 has been looking for a mate since I urged it out of the box. Well my 3rd has me unwrapping a sleek all black Case-mate Tough Case!
This case fits like a sock on my 9650. Snug and stylish. All the ports, in & out looked great. What’s best is it feels unbelievable. Not too bulky nor does it feel less than protected. I don’t mind a case that just looks great but I do prefer a little protection.
OtterBox is know for making all types of cases. Some rugged, some water resistant. But one case is what I’d call a “just right” case! I love my BlackBerry Storm2 almost as much as I love BlackBerry Smartphones in general. But sometimes it can be very slippery… Now with the BlackBerry Storm2 Impact Series Case on I’m seeing it stays put in my hand better and even the little corner bumps are reduced and it’s lovely ‘new phone’ smell is preserved a bit more inside the new case by OtterBox.
In the process of this review I we sort of fell in love with the BlackBerry Torch 9800. The Commuter Series Case for Torch 9800 devices is one clever solution by OtterBox. Most wouldn’t even consider this until owning a Torch for a few days but we slipped ours on it immediately.
Upon our discovery was an absolute match made in a BlackBerry wonderland. My original impression of the Commuter Series Case (9800) minus the device was that it felt a little thin. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out until we found a BlackBerry Torch 9800 to wrap it around.
OtterBox really does own this genre with the Defender Series Case for Bold 9650 devices, they still never cease to amaze us! I felt a bit more protection around the 9650 than it seems some of the older devices have gotten. Improvements to great products are always invited at Berryfication.com! 
Notice the rugged look of this case for those of you who haven’t gripped one before they aren’t as bulky as they appear in photo’s or videos. In my opinion they are well contoured for my size hand. The 9650 and Defender Series Case for 9650 Bold series seemed like they we’re made to be married together. OtterBox spends a great amount of time molding every ounce around the device as well as product testing these babies.
I recently found myself in the market for a New BlackBerry Storm2 case when I stumbled upon the Smooth Case only for Storm2 9520/9550 devices by the awesome accessory maker known as Case-mate.
I’ve looked at this one a few times before but always ended up going for a bigger more expensive case in the past. Well if you digging around for something a bit simpler, your rocking a caseless BlackBerry and your budget is right around $10- then you might want to head over to Case-mate and check out the Smooth Case!
The Bold (9700) Commuter Series Case by OtterBox is easily the best all around on the go, stay at home comfort case! What can I say, I love this case!
It’s nice to have a case that goes on and comes off just as easily. You can’t always use these “rebooting applications” since sometimes BlackBerrys just get frozen and require an actual battery pull.. hence the clever Commuter Series Case for the Bold 9700 series smartphones!

I was more than surprised the other day when I unwrapped this OtterBox of BlackBerry Smartphone cases, to reveal the Defender Series Case for BlackBerry 9520/9550 series devices. It was wrapped in a big wonderful wrap that was actually simple to open. Inside I revealed it’s 3 layers of protection, Screen protector kit (including a lint-free cloth) and a sturdy black Holster style Ratcheting Belt-Clip.
We recently made some great new friends at OtterBox, a fantastic accessory builder that’s introduced us to their line of Commuter Series Cases for the BlackBerry 9520/9550 Series Smartphone.
Now I choose the Commuter Series Case because it combines the ruggedness of the Defender Series line with the silicone skin-like of the Impact Series line. And this combination more defines me as a consumer. A protective case that still slips in & out of my pocket.
How often do you find yourself with a “Low Battery” warning on your device? It’s always an untimely event. Well RichardSolo has made a wonderful device that will hopefully help many of you out called the 1800 for BlackBerry Smartphones. And I’ve found it to be quite lovely to have in these dire situations.
Now using the 1800 almost everyday. I can say it’s best in situations where your not holding the phone such as driving or traveling on foot. You simply charge the device up for about 5 hours, unplug, toss it in your bag, purse, or what have you and all of a sudden you begin to feel at ease about your Smartphone and it’s seemingly constant need for an outlet. I personally am running 10 applications in my 9550′s backround at least at all times. I know your thinking crazy! Too
First thought out the box. Wow that was fast. Received the case which is the Hybrid tough case from Case-Mate.com in just a couple business days. Another big observation is the color. In the photos I can say now both the Royal Blue – Matte, and the Green or Green – Matte are about 40% brighter in color. The photos online don’t give Case-Mate the credit deserved.
From the box to the 9550. First I had to remove my current case the Case-Mate barely there case in a Royal Blue -Matte.
