BlackBerry App World is featuring BeWeather aka BerryWeather by Bellshare. If you already own the app or the Free version, chances are you know what we’re talking about. CrackBerry has given them a bevvy of awards. The app has sat in the number 1 spot on my last 7 BlackBerry’s for reason.
BeWeather is compatible with every BlackBerry from 8100 to 9981. Runs on OS 4.2.1 to 7.1. They offer a FREE Trial version as well as the full premium edition. The Free version is more a trial and whets your appetite for the full deal.

After becoming the most popular place to hang out since the back of the bleachers, GetGlue has become a daily stop for some, or an obsession for others. Check-in to movies, tv-shows, BlackBerry, Berryfication and much more! Unfortunately they haven’t evolved with BlackBerry 7 nor Tablet 1.0-2.0. So a great secondary option I use, is their mobile site!
The latest mobile site update v1.2.1.6 actually fixed a ton of annoying bugs that were just lingering around. It only took about 2 months, but they finally spent some time to fix them. And m.getglue.com runs great with both the trackpad/touchscreen on OS7 Torch & Bold devices (the only I’ve tested it on.)

I came across My Fitness Friends in App World just recently, thinking $0.99 was a price to good to be true I had my doubts about the product at first. Then I discovered Nickel Buddy was behind the product & without wasting any more time I advanced right through the purchase!

After seeing the latest app from XLabz, ProInsights stirring up some positive attention over at BerryReview, I was reminded of another app they made recently, Groovy Notes for BlackBerry PlayBook. It’s one of the most detailed notes-tasks-reminder products available.
Groovy Notes is compatible with BlackBerry PlayBook and runs great on both stock & OS 2.0 beta. The application is currently priced at $4.99 which isn’t a lot considering the detail that went into this product.

It’s been the best running and looking Twitter client on the PlayBook now for a few months. Of course if you use Twitter like most BlackBerry users, then you know all about Kisai Labs opus Blaq already.
Now that I’ve had a couple PlayBooks, including running one on PlayBook 2.0 beta, then the other on an official OS, I’ve made sure to try out all the Android clients too. FREE .bars or not Blaq for PlayBook v1.6 is far superior than any other experience.

Smarter Apps slipped this gem out right before Christmas and we just didn’t get a chance to issue a fair review at the time. I picked Vampire Hunter up shortly thereafter and quickly got hooked on it like many previous games in their trove.
Vampire Hunter is a premium priced game coming in at $4.99, with compatibility for every BlackBerry device running OS 4.7 to 7.0. And after getting the last 3 Free from SA it seemed a fair price to pay for a 4th game I’d end up loving as well.

I have no idea how the PlayBook has gone this far without a stellar marble meets wooden labyrinth games to showcase the awesome power under the hood. Well glad to say the wait is finally over! Plunk! by OMG! Brews Games is easily the most eye catching and addictive marble labyrinth game I’ve played, Ever!
In keeping with the simple idea of a real wooden labyrinth style box OMG! Brews Games takes it a step deeper giving you stunning marbles over Pine, Camatillo, Rosewood, Kingwood and Mahogany. Each contains 9 levels with increasing difficulty.
It was one of the 1st games I downloaded when I unboxed my first PlayBook. One of the best puzzle games on any BlackBerry device.. I am of course talking about Doodle Blast by FlexibleAIR! They’ve updated to v2.0.5 adding 30 new levels as an in-purchase add-on for just $0.99!
Doodle Blast for BlackBerry PlayBook now boasts a 4 & 1/2 out of 5 star average review from nearly 800 users. A FREE title alone but now they’re offering some fresh new levels for just $0.99. Hard to turn your nose to that!
If you haven’t used Photo Studio or Photo Studio PRO yet, today would be a perfect time to pick it up. BerryBlowApps aka KVADGroup (via BlackBerry App World) has a nice selection of apps/games available, but this one is their best!
