Vol 2 is officially here! THE HEAVY ROTATION seemed to quite a hit the first go round. Assuming users either love repetition, or we’ve built a nice fanbase of readers that trust my selective choices. Either way, round 2!
We’ve still never seen the post that was specifically created for another important blog go live. To be honest I’m just going to have to get past that. In lieu of it all I must admit, I love these posts.
One of the most popular tablet applications Sketch W Friends has just gotten a nice update tonight. XLabz Technologies couldn’t be more proud of the success this game has brought them, and they’ve continued to give back.
We’re not sure yet what all v2.0 brings. I reached out to XLabz for a full changelog. Though it appears they’ve added quite a bit, and listened to fans as well! Priya got back to us with some screenshots & full changelog. Thanks Priya!

emacberry popped off with a very cool new application (compatible with touch screen only). iMazing is a highly useful new email extension that let’s users Delete, Mark as Read, or Read your emails instantaneously.
I can’t lie I’m a fan of any email-pop-up application. But emacberry does a fantastic job building apps that appear to belong inside the BlackBerry OS.
Some said it would never come.. Some cried it wasn’t fair.. Some saw it in App World the night before, but were spoiled when they couldn’t buy it yet. I am talking about the Walt Disney of mobile gaming, Angry Birds Space!
Angry Birds Space is compatible with tablet 1.0 & up, on BlackBerry PlayBook only of course. There is no free (ad-supported) option of course. ..Space will set you back $4.99. Get it here.
I won’t waste any time talking about how cool this game is. If you’ve played Angry Birds Space on an Android or iOS device, then you know your going to love it on the PlayBook. Bigger birds, more space and better controls. You be the judge!
**NEW Note: upon waking this morning I wanted to download ..Space to our other PlayBook and can’t help notice the game is now missing?? RIM also has not sent us any info about Angry Birds Space. Therefore the whole release may have been just a cruel joke. At this point We do not see it. Let us know if you see anything different.

Flicking through the new apps in BlackBerry App World a bit ago and I came by one called The Organic App by Toysoft. The Organic App is designed for shoppers keep pesticides out of their favorite produce!

Blaq, Kisai Labs incredibly popular Twitter client for BlackBerry PlayBook has just bumped up to v1.7.1 and is now available for download in App World! This is a Berryfication Heavy Rotation application and must have for any PlayBook user.
Here’s what’s new:
- Timeline position is held if new tweets are loaded while scrolled (instead of jumping to top)
- Reduced application size
- Reduced memory footprint
- Big performance improvements
- Improved scrolling

And here are some significant bug fixes:
- Real-time streaming fixes (caused by server changes to Twitter’s streaming on Monday)
- Long urls in tweets sometimes overflow into the tweet below them

- Tweets over 140 characters are still sendable if the virtual keyboard’s return key is used
- When tweeting a photo, a lack of space between the link and surrounding text make it unclickable
- When replying to a retweet, replies should be directed to original tweeter

Ebscer first caught my attention with his game Pixelated Plus for BlackBerry PlayBook & Smartphones. I would later graduate to his Xploding Boxes game (personal favorite), and now his Runaway Trains game for BlackBerry PlayBook. Another absolute must-have.

Ever since the PlayBook has come out I’ve searched for a great block-breaker style game to enjoy. Now finally with the help of Marmalade, we have Blocks of Pyramid Breaker by Fern’s Blossom Studio. A totally addicting block crusher complete with bonuses in an ancient Egypt setting.
