I came across Apparatus, the latest theme from StaticFX Designs recently and just like all his themes I couldn’t let this one pass us by without sharing some words on it and just how sleek the construction of the homescreen, colors, and the little Today/Weather island are to me!
Apparatus is compatible with select devices. They are Storm 9500 series [5.0], Bold 9650, 9700, 9780 and Torch 9800 [6.0]. So if you have one of the mentioned consider yourself in luck.
And the award for most customizable BlackBerry theme goes to Russell Nash of Gray Matter Themes for Morph! WOW! I’m shook. I’ve seen it all before.. or so I thought. Morph truly let’s users build their own theme, layout, placement, hide anything and everything, or move it where you see fit. Yes I said you can move everything on the homescreen to new locations.
Again let me emphasize that I have seen themes that do similar “customization” options but never in 1000′s of themes have I been granted all this access before. Don’t like something? Fine hide it, move it, change the color, the width, there’s even things you can add if you’d like!
It’s not hard to tell that my favorite obsession is BlackBerry themes. And being such an obsession I’ve grown to know many in the Development industry. One of our newest friends Berry Glow Designs built a very cool theme called Naturize recently and let us know he’d love to share 20 copies with our readers!

Everyone knows TDM Designs. He’s mastered some of the most addicting styles in BlackBerry themes. But somehow he’s always got these extra rabbits he likes to pull into the design. His latest has us all loving that Evo style again. This is BB EVO complete with color changeable Big Clocks!
What trips me up about TDM themes, is that even when I think I know all the hidden hotspots, launchers, Big Clocks, the 9. He throws in another twist. Or he’ll just include a list of features in one of his famous beta update emails.
After Theia choked me up, I honestly didn’t expect Mobster Mobile Design to come so hard again for a little while. Well think again, because Demeter is one of the most incredible themes both technically and from a design standpoint that I’ve ever had the honor of using.
Because Demeter has a ton of gorgeous detail, Mobster coded for a specific list of devices. These devices are Curve 8900 series, Storm 9500 series, Tour 9630, Bold 9650, 9700, 9780 & Torch 9800 BB05 and 06 respectively.

Most of you know Akash Barmecha as Global Torch Themes or GTT. I stopped using a touch screen device a while back, but I’ve encouraged GTT to make more themes for Bold 6.0 devices. And this is his latest Six dot neXt!
Six dot neXt doesn’t mean any harm to the original theme Six dot X by BBThemes. According to GTT he’s showing his respect for the original which everyone including myself loves and using his own play on words, kind of his dark-slide trick.
drkapprentice designs proves once again just why having a BlackBerry with an Android style theme is still better than having an Android any day of the week with his latest DDDROID COMMANDO!
One of my favorite things about drkapprentice is that every theme he makes is almost a continuation of the previous, design evolution if you must. Basically he adds all his fancy tricks, hand-codes and then cleans em up to perfection. But always adding something I’d think was impossible otherwise.
