SimpleGUI takes the Wallpaper theme lovers style and revamps it. Tossing in a clever homescreen structure plus adds some unique options like a quick toggle from the default wallpaper to the user defined one you can change at any given moment!
What a great week for me and my Blackberry 9700 as I finally took the plunge and upgraded to os6 and have not looked back since but the decision was made a lot easier when theme makers got a hold of TB-6 Beta and rushed to give us theme updates to satisfy our cravings.
One of my all time favorite developers, Pootermobile, not only provided updates to his most popular themes but also dropped his newest, and in my opinion, his best theme to date in Rubus.

Social looks familiar. That’s because it’s one of the slickest Facebook styled themes you’ve ever seen. Vince and Cindrine slipped this one right under the radar. Working in tandem to deliver something great for multiple BlackBerry 6.x and 5.x Devices!
Urbon is another great looking & speedy theme design by BerryGoodThemes. This Builder is a monster when it comes to releases. Sure most are pretty simple, but they are great reliable products and that’s worth the nod alone.
Urbon supports all BlackBerry 6.o themes. Once again Stu is on the ball. And that’s huge right now. So many users have waited long enough with their BlackBerry Styles, Pearl 3GS’, Curves, Bolds ect. It’s time to reinvent the view again.
I can’t alway put the words down to truly express how incredible some themes are but with Aeternum the latest from BBThemes, I’m going to try. Let’s clear the compatibility now! Works with 6.x OS for 9100, 9300, 9650, 9670, 9700, 9780, & 9800!
The 6.0 versions (built to use 6.0 features like trays) & the 5.0 versions (built to compliment 5.0 operating systems w/out trays). It would appear that the Builder put a lot of thought into the structure and navigation. Yes he did.
I fell in love with Walker Themes after 1st meeting them over their Nintedogs like Love DOGS theme. Then they came with about 5 more fireballs including BlogBerry. Now they push right up with PB Inside and it’s lovely.
Walker Themes are incredible. A lot of strong work with all the important technology hidden for a smoother ride. PB Inside has two different homescreens you can choose from at any moment and is compatible with every single BlackBerry 6 device out!
We all whined & complained, pleaded with RIM and the RIM Developers to launch an update to Theme Studio 6 over the last 6+ months. Well now it’s here. It’s the 2nd beta. There’s some issues. But hey at least we have themes.
Isn’t that why so many of you have a BlackBerry? Because you can theme it? A lot of fans would ask me why I wouldn’t put a BlackBerry 6.0 OS on my BlackBerry early. And my answer was always the same.
Nice to see Elecite bring it back to the Berry with a simple but intuitive design at home. Echo enhances your homescreen experience like many Elecite themes. What draws this one differently is the 4 Wallpapers you can toggle through on-the-fly!
Maybe a day shy of me switching to BlackBerry 6 on my 9650. Sadly I didn’t get to check this out on my Bold. But I did slam it into the S2 and I’m very impressed with the simplicity and oodles of app access tucked in.
After the recent success from AG Designs & Graphics awesome Aspire theme, there was no doubt a need to update some of his other popular themes. Both Reflect7 Array and Reflect7 Carbon as seen here have been updated and reinvented!
Reflect7 Carbon supports every BlackBerry device imaginable. But the real challenge is the stunning visuals. AG Designs took time to rework Reflect7 Carbon and now even supports 6.x OS devices for 9300, 9330, 9650, 9700, 9780!
Leave it to the always likeable Pootermobile to knock out 3 themes in one night with the new Theme Studio 6 Beta 2. Yep he’s got Sheath, Juice and Pooter PRO 2 all wearing a BB 6.x OS belt now. At least for 9650, 9700 & 9780 users.
I downloaded all 3 last night and I confirm they all seem to be just as smooth as they were on 5.x! Good news for users who purchased any of these themes too. Back with sex and appeal is one of my favorite theme developers for many obvious reasons, HedoneDesign and their new release, Vinto. Modern and stylish, all rolled into one.
Vinto gives me all I like in a theme, from the dark layout to the orange highlights and cool on the eyes soft grey icons, first seen in their Nova theme, Vinto says it all as only as HedoneDesign can say it.
With February around the corner Pootermobile went into the lab and sharpened some of his arrows. That’s right Cupid himself has just dropped Amor, one of the best looking Valentine’s Day themes I’ve ever seen!
A love sick romantic, it’s no surprise that Pooter put a lot of thought and precious time in Amor. My lady and I have both been running it for the last couple days now.
