BB Design Worx dropped their newest theme on me a little over a week ago called Escalator and I was just beginning to get a good feel for it when I was struck out by the flu.
A lot goes by in the Blackberry world in a short time and when I re-surfaced there where new themes all over but Escalator still sat on my 9700 as my newest and I was still enjoying it.
With great looking Icon’s, wallpaper friendly, a ton of hotkeys, a vertical scrolling dock this theme was made to be super clean and fast and BB Design Worx has delivered again. As I said before in my review of their Cobra and Greyscale themes, BB Design Worx maybe fairly new to the Premium theme scene but they cannot be over looked and Escalator only proves my point.
The theme has a very smooth flowing vertical side dock that holds 12 user customizable icons that run up and down to show 4 icons on the screen at a time and with the ability to hide the dock you get a great wallpaper view for those, like me, who love to show their screens. With a clean black banner that holds your time, notifications, battery and signal meters the theme is super slick looking and as with their other themes BB Design Worx love the hotkeys ability of our Blackberry’s to keep you organized and on your homescreen with little or no need to leave it.

Escalator is also available with a dedicated Weather slot for those, like me, who like the Weather app on our homescreens.
