Developer Angry Mob Games met up with Union recently to bring their dangerously addictive Muffin Knight game to the BlackBerry PlayBook. What’s the best part you ask? The game is f-ing awesome. Oh and it’s currently FREE until Thursday, May 31st!
Muffin Knight is compatible with BlackBerry Tablet 2.0 or higher. Yes there is optional in-app purchases. However your going to have a blast either way.
I don’t know how I missed this game. Maybe it came out while I was hiding in my secret cave. Muffin Knight is a story of a boy in the forest who stumbles upon a bushel of muffins and is turned into a knight. His journey begins and your his guide. With each muffin you chow down, the knight will turn into one of 16 different characters. Each character spews its own weapons. You’ll dash back and forth in Mario Bros like levels scurrying to destroy sheep, pigs and other odd forestry creatures.
Upgrades, levels-up, and other treats keep things extremely fun and there’s plenty of lol moments! I have to tip my hat to developer Angry Mob Games. These guys were having a blast making this game.
Just to give you an idea of weaponry: the Unicorn also known as “Sir Poopsalot’s pride stallion” lays steamy piles of rainbow turd which whirl the baddie animals away with the quickness. Be sure to try a drop some on your foes heads too for added fun.
Like I said the game is currently free and can be enjoyed as such. The price will most likely be $0.99 come May 31st. Playing through MK you’ll get plenty of points to upgrade your characters individual Levels, snag Perks like double jump, pit respawn etc. Though you do have an option to purchase 5, 15 or 25 points outright. Prices start at $0.99 for 5, $1.99 for 15 or $4.99 for 25 points. Now stop reading this and go download the game for free until the price goes up!
