Now that we all have so much riding on RIM finally bringing something compelling to the the mobile industry, it’s great to see developers like i-Mentalist bring something different to the table with their new FUZZengine applications & this FREE add-on to use with either native or FUZZengine enable apps.
Besides BlackBerry and BlackBerry PlayBook FUZZengine and FUZZengine enabled apps will soon be available for more platforms like Apple and Android devices. Currently with this FREE add-on both users and developers can download the FREE and premium wallpapers to use with your apps or simply enjoy on your PlayBook (as I am doing). However i-Mentalist has let us know they are hard at work on getting 2 new applications out that will use the FUZZengine service. Slotch and iMPro Compass both have sneak peak promos here!
Anther good tip I should share is about their service skyparrot. Much like BlackBerry ID or cloud based services you will need to register to use FUZZengine. Even if you just want some killer new wallpapers for free. You must register the application. Takes just a few seconds. Once your registered you’ll be connected to the skyparrot advanced cloud service that will come later.
Back to the FUZZengine application we’re showing, I of course downloaded the app, registered quickly and download some sexy new wallpapers to use with my PlayBook. You’ll be able to use the images in the FUZZengine service as well, but currently videos and sounds can only be useful for the service and not the FREE PlayBook add-on.
I remember when Hedone was telling me about the service and upcoming applications. I was excited, but I had no idea just how cool it would be. Now after just spending a few minutes with the FREE PlayBook add-on, I am ecstatic! This is the type of service and products users and developers will cherish.
