Like I said, when I got my BlackBerry Bold 9930 a few months back the very first case I picked up was the Commuter Series Case. This is the type of case that you can use all by itself for about 3 months with heavy usage and nothing else. Light usage will probably last 6 months before it starts to show some serious wear.
Inside the box: 1 durable silicone skin, 1 high-quality polycarbonate shell, and 1 self-adhering protective film.
Packaging is attractive as always with OtterBox products. Inside the package is a simple how-to install step-by-step guide. Even though 3 pieces shouldn’t be too confusing.
All your plug ports have a silicone covering. Just flap out to use or press down to protect the ports. Cut-outs all around are small but give access to everything. Buttons are reinforced with a thick silicone nodule. I’ve not had any issues accidentally pressing buttons whatsoever. It’s a very well made case.
No noticeable scratches of smudges since the polycarbonate shell is a matte black. Looks good for a long time to come. The case will slide in and out of pockets, front & back as well as man murses and lady purses. It does attract a bit of lint on the silicone skin. But these is easily cleaned off.
