BlackBerry Developer Relations team Visits MMMOOO in Shanghai during GSMA’s Mobile Asia Expo 2012
The multi-platform firm known as MMMOOO in North America got a nice visit from the BlackBerry Developer Relations team during GSMA’s Mobile Asia Expo 2012. Besides getting to enjoy the booming economy of Shanghai (city of 23 million people), RIM’s Dev Relations team also got to meet with over 13 member’s of team MMMOOO. They were even treated to the MMMOOO Innovation Workshop!
If you don’t already know MMMOOO has built and released over 375 products now available in BlackBerry App World. Besides BlackBerry, they also build for iPhone, Android & Nokia.
Personally I have been close with MMMOOO for almost 4 years now, before Berryfication was even an idea in my mind. Over time some members have gone on to other ventures as well some new comers have made great progress working with the team there. Seeing that they remain as passionate about their work like as if they all worked for RIM has always been a quality that I cherish.
I admit I am a little jealous that RIM’s BlackBerry Developer Relations team got to walk into the 500 square flat where MMMOOO boasts to “Enrich Your Mobility”. Phrases that have rung in my ears over the years. Zhou, Jonah and some previous members have sent us personal thank you’s, family photos, some of my most favorite stories about Chinese culture, events and holidays over the years.
