As many know I recently retired my beloved Storm2 for a brand new Bold 9650, well one of the first things I needed was a theme that rocked! So after a handful of no-go’s I finally found TDM Designs all new Levels hidden deep inside my mailbox…
And without being active for 3 seconds I already knew, TDM had made my first non-touch BlackBerry theme. And he did it exactly right! Oh and quite freaking sick too I might add.
ThemesInMotion is obviously known for their great themes and powerhouse builders, some are newer while others like TDM Designs are very well seasoned. And Levels is quite the testament of that. With so many different view points available, and at the swift click of some keys. Levels gives you 5 different homescreen views to choose from, as well as to change at any moment on the fly. Plus the icons, menu’s, buttons, graphics, ALL OF IT is strictly business. Meaning he keeps it sick and functional. A theme you can bounce to.
The features such as homescreen changes are performed by pressing Hotkeys. Key 1 shows the first screen in the Main promo . Key 2 shows the second. Key 3 shows the third screen and key 4 shows the fourth. Just hit the SpaceBar to bring everything back or All icons out. Pretty darn simple. ESC key Hides the whole bit. A way to show off your wallie.
As for the icon-slots or sets of icon-strips shown in the Main promo. Slots 1 & 2 are the top banner locations or Weather Spots. Use for whatever your heart desires. Then you have 3 sets of icon-striped banners. See the center-middle-photo in Main promo for reference. On the Application view screen now, Slots 3 to 10 are show as the First or Top row of icons. These will always show the actual apps no matter where the strip lies. Slots 11 to 14 are the four middle icons and Slots 15 to 18 are the bottom four.
That’s a lot to juggle but I think I laid it out well. There’s a few more Hotkeys and features but I’ll let you all discover those on your own. It’s a damn fine theme! And the first one I really had the desire to tweak out.
