Smarter Themes first jumped onto the block they were packing 2 lovely and Free themes, but then we didn’t hear much from them after that. Until Now! ST is back and this time they’re packing heavy metal with their play on 360 meets BlackBerry’s own Live theme!
Live is fresh! Oodles of customization! Multiple homescreen views. Professional design that stands out. Activate this and people are going to notice you! All BlackBerry 6.0 devices are compatible.
Before you comment and ask, yes Live is very wallpaper friendly. Though I prefer the look that the developer has created, it does look quite spectacular with the proper wall.
Let’s crack into the layout and move around Live now.. 3 different homescreen views.
- First up – The Home Screen – 8 user defined icons [apps], Unique custom meters [signal & battery], Custom universal search icon off to the left hand of screen, floating apps with cool drop-shadow, view of time, date, notifications and custom splat notifications on applications.
- Screen 2 – The Apps Screen - 8 more user defined icons [apps], access to Home and Media screens with quick tabs. Same style as Home screen with access to the next 8 apps on your device.
- Screen 3 – The Media Screen - Access to 5 media apps including Music, Videos, Video Recorder, Camera and Pictures. Quick access back to any of the other screens with special 4 picture panel that doubles as Picture app access.
Live is only $2.99 in BlackBerry App World. It’s a great price for such a full and finished product. We had a feeling this developer would be making some noise and now you can decide if you agree!
