Most everyone with a love for themes knows the name drkapprentice. He’s got a great personality and a helluva knack for unique designs across themes. His latest theme; Mo7.1 for Bold 9900-9930 series is pretty dang slick.
The Mo7.1 theme is currently compatible only with Bold 9900 & 9930 devices. No news on it coming to other devices yet. But you never know. What’s really cool is the blue tiles above have 10 color options.
One thing I can see from the screen shot but I cannot in the actual theme is the pixelated Sound Profile. My guess is this is because skinning that area is no fun with themes in their current state on OS7.
I really like that drk has chosen to put the tiles behind all icons that show on the top row much like a Windows style but most importantly keeping the flow cohesive. All your other BlackBerry icons are skinned in the white circles and include BlackBerry Bridge, Docs To Go, Compass, Smart Tags, Visual Voice Mail, BlackBerry Protect and so on.
At home it is optional to pull the main bottom dock up from 1 to approximately 3 rows. The BlackBerry Menu comes up transparent in all the situations you would use it, which I like quite a bit too. There’s just no telling what drkapprentice will come up with next.
