New Phazer theme & website by HedoneDesign

Well HedoneDesign isn’t giving up on BlackBerry any time soon. They’ve just released an all new website and highly attractive theme by the name of Phazer. The new theme is compatible with OS 6, 7 & 7.1 devices such as Curve (9350/60/70), Bold (9650, 9700/80/88/90 + 9900/30/81) & Torch (9800/10/50/60).

I for one think it’s awesome to see developers like HedoneDesign staying true to form with the fresh website and new BlackBerry theme, together I can’t think of a better way to promote your brand than this.

Website – Hedone’s new website breaks down the new Phazer theme Details, the next theme, their new Rating system, and lastly the new Follow & Share social options for HedoneDesign. It brings a very simple but cohesive understanding to their love for design, quality, usability and community.

Phazer theme – I love this theme. HedoneDesign has always kept me happy with their jaw-dropping style, function and willingness to go above the call of duty.

The icons are delicious. In my opinion most of Hedone’s themes are attractive. There’s little to complain about and on a personal preference I prefer the stock layout now on BB7. I love the custom themes of the past. Sure they were the reason I got into blogging. However now after we spent nearly a year without a theme on 7.0-7.1 I got accustomed to the trays.

The new theme comes in at a very small download 800k to be approximate. Which is a very big deal to many users still. Personally I don’t care how large an app or theme is, so long as it delivers what I need from it. This is a theme that does wild things with custom wallpapers. I hadn’t even changed the wallpaper at first because I wan happy with the flow the black & white brought from the icons to the wallpaper. But if you do pick this one up be sure to try out some different walls on it. You’ll be delighted at the various views it brings.

Now there is one drawback and to many it’s a big one. The price of Phazer is still in the $6.99 category. I don’t personally agree with the price nowadays because many developers are making incredible themes for less than half that fee. But HedoneDesign does many quality products and believes their price is the best for the quality they bring. You can decide for yourself as I know some of you will just buy it like I would because we love what we love.
