Airborne Studios the team that brought you the Officially Licensed NFL themes has done it again for the NBA! Now all 30 Officially Licensed NBA themes are available for just about every BlackBerry device to date!
Airborne Studios aka Airborne Mobile has a deal with Cocky Culture YES the team that made our Official Berryfication theme to make these NBA themes for many devices running BlackBerry 4.5 OS all the way to 6.0 (All Devices).
Each theme is actually laid out in the same stock style as your static theme that came with your operating system. Devices running 5.x OS to 6.0 themes will come with a special ringtone. All the icons are custom made by Cocky Culture. And very stylized. The graphics are original NBA graphics you’ve come to love.
I picked up the Boston Celtics version mainly because they were my fathers favorite team but also because we continue to do real reviews for our readers and are not about to just post this just to make a quick buck. We need our readers to understand that quality comes first. Sure themes can be subjective to a point but quality plays a very key role in the longevity and end users satisfaction with the purchase.
Now let me add a tidbit of honesty here as well. I am Not a fan of the NBA, NFL, MLB, ect. I don’t watch sports and only play them with my kids. I don’t watch basketball on tv, don’t go to parties where a bunch of people are yelling at the TV or eating snacks out of a community food bowl. No thanks not for me. But this theme is gorgeous. All the buttons, menu’s, icons and graphics are flawless. I’m running mine on a Bold 9650/6.0. Screens are a little different between 6.0 and 5.0 obviously. The animated ringtones have to changed by the user. Which is nice since I don’t need my Berry to be locked on an NBA Ringtone when I’m using a different theme. Check out the features below. The themes are priced at $4.99 by Airborne Studios and updates are free of course. That may be a little steep for some. But the fact Tony of Cocky Culture built these and the gorgeous visuals really impact the price. Decide if that’s fair for yourself. I’ve seen all kinds of officially licensed stuff in my life and so rarely is it actually made by someone I respect or idolize. Cocky Culture does beautiful work and I strongly recommend looking into anything they build.
