The final OS 6 style theme comes in from the Kings their self, HedoneDesign introduced their OS6Like theme to us this morning and the result of course has me rocking another one!


Yes HedoneDesign slips this under the radar because they can, and isn’t this all for the fact that it’s fun to build themes, learning things you didn’t know you could do.

Well the kings of theme building have a more elegant business wise sense. While fun and great to work with, they make their presence strong in the BlackBerry Smartphone community. Today they have OS6Like which is exactly what the name is. The homescreen is light blues with hints of grey, you get just 2 screens to switch back and forth through. This will speed the theme up more than the other option of building 3. Movement is much like any other OS6 theme except HedoneDesign adds little touches that let you know their there.

Such additions as the Calendar. It’s a clean display on the icon. No annoying set date that isn’t changing. Looks great this way. Plus the icons are finally sized more appropriately for the devices they’re built on. One thing I didn’t prefer on this theme is the way the transitions highlight the icons in a square on the homescreen. Would’ve preferred those were more curved like the Storm series shows with the screen in landscape mode or others show in the application screen. The Set-up Menu icon is a new addition. We haven’t seen this style used yet and that looks great. The menus and buttons are the big shine here. I’m in love with the bigger more fittingly spaced out menus and fonts, buttons too. HedoneDesign was one of the first to go smaller and into the higher definition, now they’re showing another side. A bigger side that they also introduce in a few other themes recently.

Well all in all this again is a strong build from the team we all know and surely trust. Now we have the higher end OS6Like theme of HedoneDesign to give us a more intelligently planned out structure. Check it out!
