Get ready to grip your PlayBook tight! PewPew 2 by Jean-François Geyelin is now available and it’s like dropping liquid adrenaline into your eyeballs. Fireworks of fun. An almost illegal addiction. I can’t put this game down.

PewPew 2 follows the also muliplatform first title PewPew which is still FREE & received an average of 4 and half stars from 800+ PlayBook users.
The sequel starts things off with the same explosive light show as the original. A multidirectional shooter where enemies build up into hordes of flashing light-splosions all over the screen. 7 inches of pure madness. Honestly if your on-the-fence go download the first PewPew and see what you think. Being a huge fan of multidirectional and Galaxy Wars it didn’t take me more than the time it takes to process the purchase, to get PewPew 2 all ready to go.

PewPew is a game where your going to doing a lot of shooting and even more dodging. If those are things you enjoy doing in a game maybe this isn’t for you. Graphics are simple, bright and fun. Immediately you can choose from Tutorial, Infinity Mode or Campaign Mode. You have 3 settings Easy, Normal, Hard and as you progress you’ll open up more ships, medals and other elements of gameplay. It’s right up my alley.

Oh and while the game is easy to pick up and play, things do begin to get challenging as you progress. Developer Jean-François Geyelin has a great blog jfgeyelin.com/ explaining various obstacles, achievements and personal growth since he first released PewPew. I can’t wait to see what he does next!

PlayBook users can all enjoy this title with compatibility beginning with tablet 1.0 and up. PewPew & PewPew 2 are compatible with just about every other platform as well. Priced at $2.99 for BlackBerry PlayBook below.
