The Toysoft Development, Inc shot us an email yesterday about their latest entitled Picture TimeStamp. And wow this is an extremely useful application for adding a Graphic, TimeStamp & Custom Text to your photo’s.
As soon as I realized I could add the graphic (as shown in the picture above) to my BlackBerry photo’s as I took them I thought this was definitely an awesome utility.
Picture TimeStamp leaves a tiny footprint in your memory, at just 60 kilobytes and just a $2.99 price tag it’s a fair deal if your asking me. Now it doesn’t actually show up until you print the photo out. So please don’t misunderstand. You won’t be able to see the image graphic, timestamp or custom text in the Pictures Application. This is for users that want or regularly print their photos out.
*Automatically prints the text and logo on the picture taken with the Camera App.
*Automatically rotates the picture if the photo is taken in another orientation.
*Automatically resize the picture if it is too large.
*Save all pictures to a different folder.
*Control the text, font, color and position.
*Logo can be any size and format can be jpeg, PNG or BMP.
*Option to delete or keep the original photo.
*Integrates with the system Camera, Media, or Files applications.
*You can time and logo-stamp any picture using the Media or Files application.
*On the fly custom text.
*You can enter a different custom text whenever you take a new picture.
*Optionally prompt you to stamp the picture.
My verdict. It’s pretty snazzy. I do wish I could view the graphic, and timestamp from within the Pictures application on device but for just a few bucks this isn’t a bad deal. Works on all current and some of the new upcoming BlackBerry Smartphones coming out around the corner. Hit the link, check it out!
