Creeping back into your BlackBerry like a gangster in the night. HedoneDesign hit’s hard with their Pneuma. Giving us what we desire, in somber elegance.

Pneuma (πνεύμα) is an ancient Greek word for “breath,” and in a religious context for “spirit” or “soul.” As written at HedoneDesign.com I found this to be moving and it’s meaning helped inspire the words in the BQC: Pneuma theme review.

It has been a few weeks since Hedone has grazed the cover of the site here. And that’s just not normal. Their team has been with us since the beginning. Same as some other Developers that also had faith, and encouraged me to make this dream come true. This new product is what makes the BlackBerry Smartphone continue to stand out above the other devices. We have yet to see anything as beautiful as Pneuma don the screen of an iPhone4 or Droid X. But then looks aren’t everything as we’ve learned from BlackBerry products as well. They have to work. The experience here is center stage and technology invisible. Meeting not just the standard but excelling past the average product. And that ladies and gentlemen is your $6.99 well spent. Sure you can spend 2 or 3 dollars on another theme instead but you’ll get what you pay for more times than not. Buy what you want. I’m just opening the doors. You’ll pick your own prize in the end.

Besides the dark and wonderful structure surrounding this theme, you also get these incredible, undeniable HedoneDesign icons. They are dazzling chunks of never ending candy for your thumbs to savor. Might I add that they’ve tried something a bit old school with a new twist here. You can choose from the HedoneDesign icons, RIM icons and both are offered in TodayPlus or Zen depending on your tastes. Bravo. Another innovation.
