Pootermobile strikes a fire with his latest! Poise is by far my personal favorite theme by Mr. BlackBerry themes. From the colors, buttons, menu’s to the awesome icon-set.. Pootermobile locked in sick and twisted it off.


He slipped the world a sneak peak of Poise just a few days ago. But he had things in his life to do that didn’t require making us BlackBerry geeks smile at the time. Was it worth the wait..?

You bet your ass it was! This theme makes sense in every way. Click and react. It’s not just the simplicity but the cool blue & grey with this perfectly original icon-set. Pootermobile ideals in the homescreen.. all comes together very nicely. And this is just more proof that you can’t make a killer premium theme overnight. These things take time. Every little step must be finished and lastly your best chance at success comes in the end with beta testing, creating a buzz and/or having a loyal following. Sir Mobile themes has all that. Sure we’ve always been partial to his willingness to work with customers and listen to our needs.

Poise brings it home first with the dreamy iOS4 like wallpaper. It’s cool, it’s easy to see yet brings a nice light into the environment. Then the Date & Time both rest in individual docks that both open Calendar & Clock applications as a secondary function. 2 features Pootermobile has come to bring us regularly and does so again are the “No Carrier” and “Wallpaper Friendliness.” For some the wallpaper thing is a must. Not me. But others are willing to turn a theme down if it’s not packing this feature. Plus there’s no transitions. Some like this some don’t so that’s a hard one but Poise works and looks great without them.

Other features include On screen instructions for 9500 series devices (just upon activation) Cell Features that includes 4 to 6 icons on both Storm and Non-touch devices. Open the Cell with “z” and close it with “0″ Plus the Calendar is fixed on the Cell however the entire Cell in hideable as well. The icon-set is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, size is nice. A bit larger than medium and works swimmingly with 3rd party icons. All this and a blue focus makes it one lovely parade if your asking me! Don’t let this one slip you by.
