Ever get tired of the same old tones, sounds and ring tones bumping out your speaker? I know I do. Shoot I get tired of hearing some random strangers BlackBerry Smartphone sound off to the same melody on my device. Who’s with me? Well I know Electric Pocket is that’s why they made the application Ringo to add some flare to your BlackBerry.

Ringo opens up the idea to easily customize your ringtones, LED lights, Block Callers or Groups of Callers. Customize tones right down to your Email, SMS, and PIN Messages. Also allows you to set the BlackBerry Smartphone to silent overnight or on certain days. Quite useful I think many people when they find this app will like what it’ll do for them.

Now the learning curve here is another story entirely. I took a few cracks at it and most days I just wasn’t in the mood to retrain my “Bellshare” trained brain into switching off and into uncharted territories. But eventually I did. Not because I prefer to but because this is what I do and what We do at Berryfication. Now I didn’t have too hard a time setting things up just a little uninspired. The LED options were quite limited after using the Bellshare apps like they came with my BlackBerry Smartphone. Although they didn’t I also never really dove to deep into the Ringo application. And I thought maybe had I not been spoiled already by the GUI of Bellshare maybe I could have enjoyed this more. So the time passed and I realized I had better get something down about Ringo before I forget. Mind you Electric Pocket makes some other very lovely apps. I think they are focusing more attention on the other Smartphones right now. But hope to see them soon. I ended up deleting Ringo to make space for other products and what do ya know it completely wiped my custom Sound Profile out like a Wave just crash up on the shore of rezn and whooosh! Gone! Ah well I’d been meaning to spend a couple hours re-doing that… No I didn’t. So there’s the best I could conjure up. Check it out, if ya want to.
