Screen Muncher v4.2.1 – Now taking Social Integration Very Seriously! by Motek Mobile
If you haven’t heard of Screen Muncher yet chances are you live in a cave. Out of the hundreds of other screen capture apps available for BlackBerry the Screen Muncher app is not only one of the most popular, it’s also very fun to use! For a while now users have had the ability to screen munch apps like Foursquare, BBM convos, screen shots and much more. But Motek Mobile wanted to give users more. So they did! Adding Facebook recently and taking it even deeper has shown that Motek wants BlackBerry users to show everyone just how adorable and fun taking a screen munch can be.
There’s no question that I love taking screen shots. I spend a good portion of my days showing off new and upcoming products from many of BlackBerry’s finest developers. But even still I love to sharing pics of what I’m enjoying. With the latest update of Screen Muncher 4.2.1 we not only get BBM & Twitter integration. Now they’ve taken the app to Facebook. And with Facebook integration users, friends and family will now see exactly what is shown in our promo pics Tyler provided.
But wait there’s more! If you look closely you’ll notice a few things. Once you’ve posted to Facebook you or any of your friends/family can then send the Screen Munch to Pinterest, Reddit, Twitter or repost to Facebook. But notice how the image is tucked in the left hand side, info and text is on the right with the big mouth showing clearing munching the whole bit of info. They’re really doing some cool things.
Screen Muncher is even slated for multiplatform. Will it shine on iPhone and Android? I think it can. But for now if you ever want to see the most screen captures on BlackBerry from hundreds of thousands of users all over the world check out the #screenmuncher hash-tag here.
Remember there’s nothing to using this product. You can set the app to your Convenience Key, add it to QuickLaunch, ShortcutMe or simply place the Munch mouth in your homescreen then launch. They even add the option to your BB Menu for easy access. Plus the icon or monster is cute and addictive. What more could you ask for?
