Our friends at MMMOOO did me a favor this week and dropped a theme on me that has put simple back onto my phone with their theme Silver Metallic.


Nothing too fancy or complicated here just eye pleasing brushed metal with a hint of soft grey to give my Blackberry a pleasing feel. Themes, as MMMOOO shows here, do not need all the key press combinations or huge file size to do what we want a theme to do, look good and function just fine thank you.

The homescreen oozes of brushed metal with 6 user defined icons and a partial spherical wheel in the right corner that shows all your notifications, time and date and battery and signal meters in blocked form. The icons are OS5 default but customized to blend in perfectly with the theme. Soft grey with the brushed metallic background make them easy to see and pleasing to the eye. With 6 Calendar or SMS entries on your homescreen you will always have all your important info ready at a glance.

As I said complicated is not always in the books for me and Silver Metallic is the perfect theme for that and with MMMOOO’s style written all over the theme it is just the ticket for everyday use.
