Just on the heals of the BlackBerry Touch hands on that bgr.com got which showcases the new BlackBerry 6.1 OS, BBThemes wasted no time and put together a great looking new theme! Six dot X takes all the great icons and puts em in a theme for you now!
Six dot X is compatible with BlackBerry 6.0, 5.0 and many 4.6 & 4.7 devices. From BlackBerry Pearl 9100 series, the Curve 8500, 8900, 9300 series, Tour 9630, Bold 9650, 9700, 9780 and Torch 9800 too of course. Plus the price is just $1.99, which is hard to argue.
Just like when BlackBerry Theme Studio 6 beta-2 came out BBThemes was one of the first to make a real 6.0 non-touch theme, well now he’s done it again! Sort of. Actually this is a BlackBerry 6 tray style theme (just like stock 6) but with those shiny 6.1 icons. Although the whole 6.1 thing could very well be an April Fools joke. Haha! Let’s hope not. Just be aware because they are going to be popping up everywhere.
All the menu’s, fonts, and screens are the layout you know from your 6.0 theme only now you get some pretty sexy icons. There was some buzz from Builders and users who weren’t too fond of the icons but this was with a blurry image that BGR nabbed. So now that we see them up close things are a bit different.
