Space theme FREE [including Bold 99xx] by Pz Design
Pz Design is a great theme builder. The man behind the name has been a close friend for years. He launched Pz Design last year, and has released every product free to date. The Space theme came out originally 2 months ago for devices running OS 4.6 to 6.0. After one update and then some help from the talented drkapprenticeDESIGNS, Pz Design was able to release Space theme to BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 users as well.
Now if you’re a gamer, especially PC you may already notice Space theme was build to resemble the StarCraft series games. And it does so quite well. You’ll see right away that the homescreen is built very close to that of the game.
OS users older than 7.0/7.1 will have a weather dock in the top center as well as many Today Plus spots. Depending on your device and OS, will determine how many Today spots you get.
From the BlackBerry Bold 99xx OS7.1 perspective this is a nice theme. Free is a rare word for OS7 theme users as well. At least quality wise. Sure there are other free themes but few that received this type of attention. Most all of the skinable icons on OS7 are skinned. The top banner looks great with nice detail to notifications, battery, signal etc. Menu’s and fonts all mesh well, continuing the StarCraft look throughout. Icons are even sized well to match that of most all 3rd-party applications.
Normally I would expect a theme like this to run a couple bucks easy. But Pz Design just wants to share his increbile love for all things BlackBerry with you. Big kudo’s to Doug for helping Pz D out on the 7.x front. I didn’t expect it to happen so quickly. But it did!
