Screen Muncher v4.2.1 – Now taking Social Integration Very Seriously! by Motek Mobile
If you haven’t heard of Screen Muncher yet chances are you live in a cave. Out of the hundreds of other screen capture apps available for BlackBerry the Screen Muncher app is not only one of the most popular, it’s also very fun to use! For a while now users have had the ability to screen munch apps like Foursquare, BBM convos, screen shots and much more. But Motek Mobile wanted to give users more. So they did! Adding Facebook recently and taking it even deeper has shown that Motek wants BlackBerry users to show everyone just how adorable and fun taking a screen munch can be.

We don’t post every update and confess we haven’t done much for the MOLOME app (community) in a while. But their latest update is pretty sweet! New filters that BlackBerry users will love. 2 different resolution options from the original 600x600px to a new 800x800px option. And ever more social share options. Share to Twitter, Facebook, Dropbox, Tumblr, BBM, Flickr, Weibo & VK.

on MOLOME v2.1.9.2, DropBox, Tumblr, Flickr, VK and Weibo are added as Share options. You can now share your photo to the world via those channels. Moreover, in BlackBerry OS 7, you will be also able to share your photo to your friend on BBM contact. MOLO ^0^

To expand the target device group, MOLO now extends the handset support to BlackBerry 9810 and BlackBerry 9860 as well. MOLO ^0^
• Faster image loading
Image Loading is now doing in more clever way which lets the image appear faster.
• Better Notifications
Notifications now shows more items so you will not miss anything. MOLO ^0^
• No more “Not Enough Space” error
Application Storage is now used for caching so “Not Enough Space” error will not be able to annoy you anymore. MOLO ^0^

Last week Facebook change something on their API which brought the problem to any single BlackBerry application that use Facebook including MOLOME. If you want to link MOLOME with your Facebook account, please do the following quick fix. It would help. MOLO ^0^

mgdotnet let me know about a very cool new theme called r34 that he was about to drop, days later that theme as well as iL7 are now available. mgdotnet formally known as bbthemelab has always done an excellent job adding just the right amount of customization to his themes while maintaining a simplicity that isn’t too complex. r34 is by far one of my favorite new themes.
Space theme FREE [including Bold 99xx] by Pz Design
Pz Design is a great theme builder. The man behind the name has been a close friend for years. He launched Pz Design last year, and has released every product free to date. The Space theme came out originally 2 months ago for devices running OS 4.6 to 6.0. After one update and then some help from the talented drkapprenticeDESIGNS, Pz Design was able to release Space theme to BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 users as well.

Foursquare for BlackBerry v5.0 update #allnew4sq
Sometimes more often than not we avoid posting every little update that comes out. While we’d love to have time for them all some just aren’t that huge a deal. That is.. until I downloaded the new Foursquare for BlackBerry. Now here’s a team that really knows how to re-invent itself making the latest versions of their popular social app feel fresh again! Lots of color, sharp edges, and content to explore as always.
4sq has continued to reinvent current features, add new features and feed the crowd more of what we love about the community. Functionality has always been spot on. Even when I was running the original beta releases that Peter Nofelt would send out, I always felt the product was something unique. Rarely did it fail to connect to GPS. Now years later and Foursquare is a household name.
It didn’t take long for Facebook to get in there and attempt to steal what 4sq started with their lackluster ‘Facebook Places’. But really who uses places besides people who took an extra year to go from MySpace to Facebook. And these are the same users that still haven’t gotten the hang of Twitter. Millions of users love their Foursquare and still we can see that Foursquare loves the user-base right back.
I’ve never seen users on Twitter begging Foursquare for an update or invite. They don’t play games with us. It’s understood that they want everyone to share the same incredible experiences. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous of the people that work at 4sq.
