The ‘Days of my Summer’ where bought back early Tuesday morning when I was greeted to a new theme from Michelle at Basic Visuals called AllStar. I refer to Summer because the shoes of choice, during Summer break when I was in School, where the ever popular “Chucks” from Converse, named after basketball player Chuck Taylor when he choose them as his preferred shoe when playing on the hard court.
The history of this very popular shoe is well documented but Michelle has incorporated this very nicely in her AllStar theme. Simple and relaxing, smooth and easy are just what we need during these hot Summer days and AllStar can give your Blackberry that feeling too.
One thing I’ve never really seen Zuki Mobile do, but have from other theme developers, is create a theme purposely for the business person. Business themes can be a difficult sell to BlackBerry users due to the way most corporate IT policies lock down a device and block them from downloading.
To go along with that, most business-y themes are boring, dated, and can put you to sleep faster than a meeting!
So when this theme hit my inbox at 1am, Sunday morning, I was like….”Dang you Rezn! Interrupting my RIM (R.E.M. – sorry, play on words) sleep”. Well, lucky for him, I like Immersion.

I will start by saying im not a big fan of themes with HD icons and I rarely ever purchase them. But I must confess I was impressed with Nature HD the new release from Adorno.

BB Design Worx dropped their newest theme on me a little over a week ago called Escalator and I was just beginning to get a good feel for it when I was struck out by the flu.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a heavy memopad user. Grocery lists, to do’s, music or products I’ve seen and don’t have time to buy right then, etc. These all go into my memopad on my Tour. BB4 Software has gone one step further and released MiniNotes.
