BlackBerry Device Service & BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 get FIPS 140-2 Certification

RIM let us know last week that both BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 and BlackBerry Device Service (a component of BlackBerry Mobile Fusion) are now FIPS 140-2 certified. This is great news for many reasons. U.S. Government computer security standard, industries like healthcare, finance and many other organizations trust in FIPS 140-2 Certification.
