- Each level has a mix of specially morphed movie posters across all genres and films from different periods of time

- Help options like Hints, Ask Facebook and Twitter friends and Resolve.
- Users can earn hints as they keep playing and can also buy hint packs as in-app purchases
XLabz Give Users More Reasons to pick up a BlackBerry Z10
We’ve played through hours upon hours of their PlayBook games and apps. I’ve downloaded just about every single one. And now XLabz is back, and almost exactly how you remember them. Sure they are the same ideal but since each game had to be rebuilt from the ground up for BB10 in regards to UI, users who have already purchased the PlayBook versions will have to re-purchase each game or app that they would also love to experience on the BlackBerry Z10.
Sure this will always be a gripe for some. Sorry but if everything in life was meant to be easy then even I’d probably have a BlackBerry Z10 by now. ZING. However I have purchased ProInsights, Vault, UberIris, Dictionary+, A Day In Life & Bird Calls all from a Dev Alpha A. Each was well worth it’s money and weight in slickness. My favorites being ProInsights, Vault (uploaded all my passwords via Dropbox backup from PlayBook in just seconds), UberIris and Dictionary+!

Of course I put this one to the test and was impressed as usual. One of our favorite third-party developers XLabz Technologies let us about 2 new apps they now have available for BlackBerry PlayBook owners: Synth Pad & Groovy Beats. Both high quality applications like always. If you haven’t seen XLabz before, be sure to check out some of our favorites here.
Here are the top features of Synth Pad:
- Customizable layout: Can have as few as 2 keys or as many as 15 keys at a time. Each key represents a particular instrument or sound which can be edited.
- Options to save and load your presets and also adjust the tempo (BPM).
- Autoplay mode to compose rhythms and play them back automatically; can do this by tapping the numbers on the keys. These rhythms change depending on the sound/instrument you choose.
And here’s a gist of Groovy Beats:
- Each row on the grid of Groovy Beats corresponds to a different instrument/sound while each column corresponds to a different point in time.
- Loop: Hit the Loop button to play a particular beat in a continuous loop
- Groovy Beats let you create and play up to 4 pages of beats!
- Options to save your favorite tracks and load them back.
- Draft: Can toggle between Draft and Final play modes. Draft mode allows quick playback and editing on the fly, while the Final mode is more precise.

Just when we started to complain that we needed a new Free game to occupy our time was when XLabz Technologies launched their own version of the logo games, called well The Logo Game! And it’s loaded. A game much better than many games you could pay $1, 2 or even more for.
