While still enjoying Levels and Windows XP Pro on my 9700, TDM Designs of ThemesInMotion has hit us with his version of an HTC concept theme in TDM EVO 4G and it is nothing short of spectacular.


By covering all the bases of what we the end user demands in themes today there is a little bit of everything and a whole lot of anything all packaged neatly on your screen.

As the teaser screenshots came out, excitement began to build as the concept and look where appealing to all users, myself among them but one thing that we can all appreciate is that TDM Designs will only release a theme after it has been fully tested on all devices and even after release as users get the feel for the theme updates will follow, this alone helps me enjoy any premium theme.

TDM EVO 4G has the HTC feel to it with the bottom bar look but with a twist. The center of the bar holds an Icon of your choice, weather or BatteryEx are perfect for this, and either side of the bar gives you one click access to a Today panel and an Icon Drawer. The today panel hold 6 user defined icons in a slide out feature and the Icon Drawer holds 5 user defined icons, also in a slide out style. In designing the theme TDM Designs knew a popular feature he had to package in was the ability to hid all the panels to show off that beautiful screen which helped clear up the reason for the large clock in the top panel and the 2nd clock in the top banner. By hiding all the panels you can still view the time at a glance in the banner while keeping the screen clear.

Staying with the style and feature rich design of the theme TDM Designs has included a neat user friendly feature by including a space in the top panel for ‘Owner Info’ (Options > Owner) to display your name, nickname or your favorite quote. All of this helps round out a well designed theme packed with all the features we need, from a today banner to icon drawer to wallpaper view, I can say it is a theme I have been sporting since it’s release and one you can enjoy to it’s fullest.
