Awe inspiring. I’m trying to put words to the recent release of Cerulean Studios Trillian for BlackBerry Smartphones, now in open beta to all those who have an interest is the product. This is why I am involved so passionately in product design for the BlackBerry Smartphone. And share my ultimate expirences and undying gratitude with the great fans of our site.
Quoting The Cerulean Studios blog: “During the beta test, we’ll be listening closely to tester feedback and focusing on a few key areas: speed and performance, battery usage, stable network connectivity, and resolving crashes, freezes, and other bugs.” < This is bold. And shows great strength. Many developers especially those in application design claim to have to best products right away in hopes that you’ll toss them some peanuts. And this just is not the case with the Trillian for BlackBerry application. They are aware the product can be better. Some users will have different needs or desire more user specific updates.
The GUI is of the top products ever developed on a BlackBerry device in recent times if not ever. But remember this is a beta product at version 1.0 build 204 it may not work the same for everyone or your very different device series. We don’t write much on beta’s here for a couple reasons. 1.) We like to guarantee that the products we offer for Review are of the highest standard, therefore we can help you resolve an issue you may have or at least escalate it to the Developer when the situation calls for it. This product is at your own risk. Your working directly with the Developer and their teams on any beta build closed or open. Should a product end up closing and you get your hands on it unbeknown-st to the developer then your really on your own. We do not suggest this behavior as it shows bad form and a disrespect for what the end goal is. Now that we’ve said all that.
It’s time we tell you what it is, an all out IM Client, adding your Google Talk, Yahoo!, Facebook Chat, Skype, Windows Live, AIM, IQC all in one place! Trillian will run in the backround. Notifications by Sound, LED, vibration, and/or a homescreen icon notification change. There’s also 2 different themes built into this build on White and one Black. They both are very sharp. You can send photos, and image files easily. Also since your probably curious how this is FREE well it’s still in beta and they do need every participants help. I have one rule of thumb I live by and that’s if your going to take then take with style. Toss a little update on your love for the client or an issue you seem to see happening to the feedback team. They can’t fix what they aren’t aware of
