Next Generation Wikitude 7 now available here for BlackBerry
Ever since BlackBerry 7 lunched last year, even prior to launch I think many of you can recall how exciting Wikitude’s augmented reality browser appeared. Not that it was ever disappointing, just not something we all found a lot of use for. Well Wikitude is out to change that! Especially with what they plan to introduce come BB10.

The Wikitude 7 that launched a couple days ago has received a complete re-haul. The user interface looks and feels great. Like a true world inside my BlackBerry. This update even brings a new unique screen layout that finally takes advantage of our BlackBerry screens. Rich content is just a click away.
3 new screens accessible by sliding either left or right. These screens now feature the most popular content / worlds among other Wikitude users. Categories now include more than 3,500 different worlds. You’ll even find a new Favorites screen where you can quickly access all your favorite worlds in one rich area.
New partners have even jumped on-board to bring instant accesses to products / services such as Hotels.com, TripAdvisor, Yelp and others. I sure wish I had this new update when I was in Florida during BlackBerry World. But I’m not going to complain, because next time I will. There’s no other app that brings these content rich services all in one place like Wikitude 7 does.
Much like BlackBerry Travel, Wikitude 7 offers these services to help users like you and I to get the best possible deals for Hotels and at the last minute. You can literally pick up your BlackBerry, launch Wikitude and view the closest hotels all around you via the camera. All this is included using Hotels.com! And that’s not all. There’s plenty more coming especially with the Featured screen constantly updating bringing new offers and the best deals/services. Much better than the app we were using a week ago. So just imagine what BlackBerry 10 could bring.
